We believe that social storytelling can build childrens’ confidence and resilience by equipping them with coping skills from an early age, facilitating dialogue with parents about difficult moments and feelings, normalizing challenging obstacles, and strengthening the parent-child relationship.

This all began when my 1.5 year old daughter had a hard time adjusting to naptime at daycare. For 4 months, I sat outside daycare, waiting to be called in because my baby was crying. At the suggestion of one of the many expert consultants we hired, I created a book for her - one where she could visualize an entire day at daycare, including a nap.

Miraculously, it worked. It worked overnight! We read the book twice, and the next day, I picked up my daughter for the first time at 4 pm. I have been making these for every transition ever since. And my daughter is still in love with each book because she gets to see herself. Having experienced how incredibly effective this tool can be, I want to share it with other families and help them through various stepping stone moments.
